Community Health Centre, Kalimela is located in the heart of Kalimela town as well as in front of Govt. Bus stand Kalimela. It serves the health facility to Bengali community & local tribal community around 135000 population. This facility provides health service to twentyone panchayats. Very little access to hilly terrain areas of the block like Sailur, Dulagundi, Ampadar, Badpadar, Kamalapadar, Arabati, Poplur, Kurmanur villages isolated from the mainstream but also vulnerable to the healthcare crisis. And at the heart of it is poor road communication despite years of development push by the government.
